2024 AGLOA Outstanding Senior: Isabelle Anderson
Congratulations to Isabelle Anderson of St. Mary’s Dominican High School for being selected as one of the AGLOA Outstanding Seniors for 2024. AGLOA’s Outstanding Senior Award is one of the most prestigious honors awarded at the national tournament. The award recognizes not only a student’s academic accomplishments, but most importantly, their leadership skills, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
Isabelle was one of the students who joined the team when Academic Games returned to her elementary school, St. Pius X, after a decades-long hiatus. She continued to build up the team, even after moving on to high school. Her ability to teach her teammates, younger players, and her mother helped Isabelle become a competitive player. She earned a plethora of individual and team titles over her nine-year career.
Throughout her years as an Academic Games player, Isabelle formed several friendships with the players from her league beyond her own school. These bonds helped her and her team flourish. She has many awards but more importantly, lasting memories to cherish.
NOAGL thanks Isabelle for her dedication to promoting the spirit of Academic Games in the New Orleans Academic Games League and beyond.
